A Beautiful Week for Delta Epsilon Chapter

On Sunday, December 5th, The Delta Epsilon Chapter, as well as some men from the Zeta Lambda Chapter, witnessed 8 men initiated into the bond of Tau Kappa Epsilon.Congratulations to our newest initiates: Cody Luke, Marcus Richardson, Shane Vanover, Corey Stumpf, John Campbell, Charles Eby, Vincent Iafelice, and Mike Verib!

A phenominal rush semester shows the Chapter at its highest. With a Pledge class of 9, and a Chapter with enough energy to pass to the Class, The Delta Epsilon Chapter is proud of their work.

Congrats to the 2011 Graduates!

On Saturday, May 14th 2011, Fraters Pete Katsilis (who earned his Bachelors in Social Work) and Chris Dolton (who earned his Masters in Physics) walked on the stage to receive their diplomas and graduate. Pete Katsilis also received his Fraternity For Life status and became an alumnus two Sundays ago. Congratulations Fraters!

Congrats to the Delta Xi Candidate Class

On Sunday, April 17th 2011, The Chapter witnessed 5 new Men take the bond of Tau Kappa Epsilon. The Chapter has now grown to 20 guys within the last year. Congrats to Fraters Tyler Irvin, Jason DeRivera, Alex Heier, Thomas Donley, and Justin Fechter.

A Sad Day for the Delta Epsilon Chapter - The Passing of Frater Anthony DePompei

On Feb. 28th, 2011, ΔΕ 949 Tony DePompei, age 25, crossed over to the Chapter Eternal. His death hit the hearts of many TKEs, Chi Delts, friends, and family. He will be truly missed. RIP Tony DePompei. Your family will be in our prayers.

RLC Indy has Been Launched and Finished

From 5 hours away, the Delta Epsilon chapter makes their way to Indianopolis, IN to particpate in the Regional Leadership Conference. With multiple workshops and training, the Delta Epsilon chapter learned alot to improve the Chapter.

December, 4th, 2010, The Delta Epsilon Chapter initiated Al and Alex into the bond of Tau Kappa Epsilon. Welcome Fraters Al Ordodi ΔE 979 and Alex Anderson ΔE 980!

We would also like to recognize Fraters Josh Malek, Johnale Simmons, Peti Tapolyai, Justin Ramsey, Derek Bumgardner, and Ryan Houchens for completing the requirements for Order of the Founders. Congrats Fraters!

Don Peters Day : October 24th, 2010

Donald Peters, a man who truly dedicated his heart and soul to the Delta Epsilon chapter in TKE, passed on this day in 1999. To honor him, the members of the Delta Epsilon Chapter wore black ribbons with their membership badges. Don Peters is truly a man that we owe alot of respect to for his excellent display of dedication and leadership to this Chapter for so many years.

1st Annual TKE Car Smash for St. Jude's Hospital

On Friday, October 22nd, 2010. The Delta Epsilon Chapter held a Car Smash to raise money for St. Jude Children's Hospital. Donors were able to take swings at a 1989 Buick Century, doing some outstanding damage. The Chapter raised $115 dollars for the St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Northern Ohio Tekes Invade Cleveland State University

On October 16th, 2010, the TKE chapters from Bowling Green State University (Zeta Lambda), Kent State University (Iota Pi), Youngstown State University (Epsilon Iota), and the University of Akron (Beta Rho), traveled to the Delta Epsilon Chapter at Cleveland State University for the Northern Ohio Province Education Conference. The conference gave us the chance to work on becoming a better chapter and better leaders. It was also a great opportunity for the chapters to network, exchange ideas, and to learn some skills that will help our chapters to grown in Northern Ohio.

Beta Beta Alpha Day : The Day that sparked the chapter's growth

October 10th, 1932, the fraternity of Beta Beta Alpha was founded. Within Fenn College, Beta Beta Alpha, surname for Bachelors of Buisness Admistration, sparked the fraternity world and inspired the Chapter of Delta Epsilon to grow. BBA decided to join TKE in 1953. 

A Great Day for the Delta Epsilon Chapter

On Sunday, October 3rd 2010, the Delta Epsilon Chapter saw Ryan Houchens take the bond, and sign the scroll as ΔE 978.  After the initiation of our new frater, we inducted 2 new candidates, Alex Ordodi and Alex Anderson, to start the journey of becoming brothers in Tau Kappa Epsilon. 

Delta-Epsilon to host the first ever TKE Northern Ohio Province Education Conference

On Saturday, October 16, 2010, Cleveland State University will host the first ever TKE Northern Ohio Province Education Conference. This is a one day event for brotherhood, networking, and leadership training with the local TKE volunteer team and other Fraters in from Northern Ohio. Learn some new ideas and strategies to become a better colony or chapter and discover what others are doing to be successful in the TKE Nation.  Fraters will be in attendance from Akron (Beta-Rho), Cleveland State (Delta-Epsilon), Youngstown (Epsilon-Iota), Kent State (Iota-Pi), and Bowling Green (Zeta-Lambda).

2010 Northeast Region Leadership Retreat

Four men from the Delta-Epsilon chapter invaded the Northeast Region to participate in the first annual Northeast Region Leadership Retreat hosted by the colony at SUNY-Delhi in New York.  The men learned valuable information while discussing events with Fraters from chapters outside the Midwest region.  No one that attended the retreat will ever be able to forget the popular chant "Up Jumped A Teke" brought to the Northeast Region by "those crazy guys from Cleveland".  Congratulations to Frater Johnale Simmons for earning a scholarship to attend the 2011 Regional Leadership Conference for his work as the de facto photographer for this retreat.

4/10/2010: Congratulations to the new members of the Delta-Epsilon Chapter!

Tonight saw the initiation of five new members into the Delta-Epsilon Chapter.  Derek Bumgardner, Josh Malek, Johnale Simmons, Peti Tapolyai, and Jeremiah Egnor were welcomed into the bond by members and alumni guests from Delta-Epsilon (CSU), Zeta-Lambda (Bowling Green), Iota-Pi (Kent State), and the Offices of the Grand Chapter.

The new members got to celebrate their initiation in grand fashion at the 2010 Red Carnation Ball which was held immediately after the ceremony.  Thirty-nine guests were in attendance at the first RCB held since 2007.  The chapter selected two Chapter Sweethearts this year, one undergraduate and one alumnus.  Congratulations go out to Ginny McKenzie and Marlene Haupt.
